LFG! Or in this case, the G stands for Guild. I know, i know, deceptive title, but it worked! Cause you're reading this post!
I wanted to know how people feel about trying to find a suitable guild for yourself through SAN. Is it frowned upon? Is it acceptable? Can we advertise ourselves without feeling awkward?
So hereby i am tentatively casting out the feelers, because i myself am actually looking (and have been looking) for a new warm and cozy group of friends to play with for quite some time, and what is more warm and cozy then guilds with fellow bloggers? Something that resembles a little bit the warmth and coziness of SAN?

Personally I can't see any harm in that.
However your advertising is rather unspecific. There's no information about your main focus in game, what kind of guild you're looking for (levelling, social, raiding, pvp, rp etc etc), what class your main character is and where you are in terms of progression/experience (provided that you're into raiding, which definitely not everyone is.)
If you want responses I think you need to give out a lot more information about yourself.

I didnt want to go into specifics as of yet, before getting the general opinion of what our fellow SAN-ers think about it first. This is more of a general "do we want this kinda thing in SAN" first, before plastering my Looking for Romance errr Guild Ad all over the place

I agree with Larisa if you are looking for a Guild and some people in SAN are maybe looking for similar minded individuals I say get married get together and kill stuff. ;D
Word to the wise tho (and I am sure this goes without saying that is why I am saying it) make sure it's a good fit before you actually head off into the sunset with someone else from SAN. Guild drama from other Guilds whose members are also in SAN is like driving by a car accident and seeing someone you know standing on the side of the road. You want to get involved and help but you're just not sure how. Drama is inevitable because you know, people are involved. ;D

I can't see anything wrong with it personally I'd probably join you in asking except I don't really know what I'm looking for at the moment! So as long as you know what you're looking for give it a go, but make sure you say EU or US ofc.

I was actually thinking about this too - from the other end though, advertising a guild as I've noticed yesterday there are few people stuck where they are without any obvious options.

I was going to advertise Flames in here but thought I'll just start a new thread instead.
