As some of the members of SAN US already know, I'm really unhappy in my guild. I'm not interested in an immediate change, as I have a significant other to factor into the decision (who is not likely to be thrilled with me), but I think the time has come to start getting a feel for what's out there, guildwise.
I'm currently raiding as a holy pally (armory: www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Kel'Thuzad&cn=Myrhani) on Kel'Thuzad, horde side. I have a ret spec, but I don't have much gear for it, and frankly, I'm pretty bad at playing it, so I would prefer to not. I also have an arcane mage who needs gearing, but who could contribute to a raid team if needed.
I am a responsible raider who shows up when I say I am going to, with the best knowledge of the fights I can get from videos/tactics and with buff food/flasks ready. I am looking for a guild that does the same. I am also looking for a guild culture that's mature and friendly, that takes a hard stance on bad behavior (griefing, racism) and that respects each others time by "having fun on schedule." I'd like to try hard modes or fill in the gaps in my raiding history, I don't mind running old content and I don't mind wiping. I'd love to find a guild that lets me do some of both.
I would like to raid 2/3 nights per week, not earlier than 6pm or later than midnight (central time). I would prefer 10 mans, because I have almost no 25 man experience, but I would be willing to change if necessary.
I have completed TOC10 5/5, ICC10 Lower Spire 4/4.
I can do a server OR faction transfer, but not both.
Anyone have something that sounds right?
(I just reread this and I realized I make myself sound really rigid by saying you know, shows up with flasks and tacs, etc... I just want to say, I want to raid seriously, but I don't want the whole game to turn into work. I'm not that hardcore. I'm not looking for a guild who's gonna chew me out if I don't farm primordial saronite... because I don't. And I'm not interested in starting. I want to raid seriously, and perform as well as I can at it, without breaking myself in half for an extra 2% upgrade.)
