don't forget ZulGurub! much prettier than the blackrock dungeons in my opinion (and ZulAman is nice too, but that'll take more leveling)
count me in for any lvl 60 (5man or more) action

In the dungeons of outland drops a remake of the valourset for warriors, Steamy picked up al those for an RPoutfit, should be decent enough to tank lvl60 content with without completely facerolling it.
As for lvl70 content, I have no gear in that region but I did drag a pile of puggers through certain dungeons in outland, so I do have The Master's Key to open the Karazhan door.

I would go back to Kara at the drop of a hat - and Shad also has the key (and can wear lower level gear!)
RL is hectic atm but I will try and get something sorted and on the Calendar within the next few weeks.... which will also give a few more a chance to level some more (if they want to!) and come along.

Okey - how's about we start with something simple(ish)... I'm thinking Scholo/Strath...? Strath I know requires a key which requires a quest chain but it isn't that dire and I may well do it later on tonight if anyone wants to come along? RP goodies in both I would imagine (I got dibs on Magister's gear ) if anyone is interested hollerback here on grab me online later! Also, the MC attunement isn't too hard at all, I know some people have already done it - if there's particular interest in MC I would imagine we'd need a minimum of 10 people? As always, I'd love to go (gief Benediction NAO!) and I'm hopefull that other will feel the same way! Pilf x

I take it this is meant to be level appropriate? I.E. the level of char that the dungeons were designed for?
If so I have some leveling to do as my mage is only level 34. ;D

Just to give you some idea of what numbers you should expect to bring if you're doing Molten Core, back in the day the yardstick of a good 40 man MC raid was downing Ragnaros before he submerged and summoned his Sons. This required 40 level 60 raiders in good gear at the peak of their game. We managed it only after having Blackwing Lair on farm status. I've since been going back to Molten Core on a semi-regular basis to finish off my Hydraxian Waterlord rep. These days in order to kill Ragnaros before he summons his Sons you need 1 tank and 1 mage. Healer is optional. Heck, I think with a couple of points invested in Magic Absorption you could even skip the tank and just solo it. Seriously. So just be aware of the implications of bringing anyone along who significantly overlevels the instance. Oh, and you can summon people into the instance if you have a warlock who's attuned. Alternatively you could have fun doing the attunement and seeing a bit of Blackrock Depths for those who've never done it. It really is an epic instance.

Blimey Calli - thats some down tuning...!
I think there's a few of us (myself included) who have done the attunement, which was good fun, and took about an hour. I assume the tank/mage combo is at 80?

I'm pretty sure a 80 of the right class and specc, say a feral tonky druid, could solo Raggy. I also know of a short cut to the attunement should anyone need it.

That was at 80, yes. The thing is, you have to take into account how overpowered we are compared to at level 60. Back at 60, fully raid buffed I had something like 300 spellpower and 2000 health. These days I've got 3.2k spellpower and 20k health unbuffed. That's more health than three level 60 tanks and more raw dps than ten level 60 dps classes. Of course the dps increase is probably a lot more than ten-fold as I'm not restricted to just spamming Frostbolt at Ragnaros now (he's still 100% fire-immune) and have a lot more tools in my box. Either way, Ragnaros is a complete pushover for any level 80 ranged class, so if you want to have any kind of sense of occasion about the whole thing you probably want to limit who you bring. Or, if you do bring a level 80 or two along, make it level-appropriate gear only! Gives us a chance to show off our Tier 1 and 2 sets.

I'll bring the pally or hunter dressed only in a pretty dress then. I have none of the nice looking older Tier sets as I started playing Halfway through BC ;D

Oh, and if we go to Molten Core I'd want to tame one of the Core Hounds of course. A big brother for my pup ;D

Okay.... Molten Core was a bit hard BUT we will not be beaten - oh no. We just need a few more people to come along and play - so Monday/Tuesday night if people are online and interested we can try again...!!

I have a meeting at work on Monday but should be home about 9pm.
Tuesday evening is totally free though. Would it be a good idea to buy some level 60ish green gear to make it more interesting?
