So I read http://gnomeaggedon.net/ yesterday and it broke my heart.
Therefore I propose a SAN Gnomer Gnome Rally. Basically we all roll up a gnome and take them on a victory lap round Iron Forge *in a non-destructive way* being careful not to piss off the community in any way, shape or form.
Possibly we can muster gnome pride but that's about it.
And we'll take lots of screenshots, naturally.
Also everybody has to gname their gnome traditionally - something beginning with gn like, y'know, gnorris or gnora or gnobert or gnathaniel.
I don't want to over-event us and we've got the the fishing afternoon on Sun 21st but I feel we gneed to get some positive gnome image there soon.
Maybe Saturday afternoon or a weekday evening?
Firstly, are we in? And secondly, when would be a good time?

I'd so love to do this! (No surprise I guess).
For once I've got a free Saturday this weekend and could participate at any time during the day/night.
Normally my gaming schedule is quite weird though (mostly taking place very late hours friday/saturday when few others are playing), so I won't have any other further opinions about the scheduling. If I can come I'll come.

I love the idea, the only issue is that I would have to delete a character in order to make a gnome.

That sounds like a fab idea, more power to the gnomes! I remember my old guild arranged a 'gnomeathon' one weekend where about 30 of us swarmed all over ironforge looking for new friends
I'll make every effort to be around, I'm more likely to be able to attend on a saturday afternoon than a weekday though.

Count me in, at least if i am home. I too have to delete someone, but will manage that to make a gnome.

Mmmm a character name starting with Gn... might be pushing it, but I will see what I can come up with.
To say the least I am touched... and not it that shady dirty old man way (hang on, who is calling me a dirty old man?).
This is certainly a much more civil event than I can imagine... mine would still involve Gnomes... lots of Gnomes... but on Blackrock under the banner <Argent Defilers> all appearing during prime raiding time and jumping up and down on the one spot so the world of Azeroth tilts on it's axis and...
What is it with Gnomes and mass destruction?
Of course that would just perpetuate the whole problem, and we Gnomes are bigger than that... right...
I wonder whether I can do that EU trial account trick I used to visit Larisa... err Gnarisa
Thanks folks... between your blog comments, twitter support and this you have restored my faith in Gnomekind

Sounds like this should be shared equally on both sides. I propose that there should be 2 rallys, one on EU and one on US side. There can never be too much Gnome Awareness considering the upcoming Gnomeregan Offensive. Anyone interested in a US side Rally on Saturday as well?

Now how the hell an I going to fit GN into my Random naming convention? Answers on a postcard to, "Random and Gn don't mix" at usual address.
Edit: Will Randome work?
